Max claimed the No. 1 spot on Nielsen’s Top 10 Overall Streaming chart for the week of March 31, thanks to the season finale of its hit dark comedy-drama The White Lotus. The series drew an impressive 1.306 billion viewing minutes, making it the most-watched title of the week. The Adults 18-49 demographic was especially engaged, accounting for 61% of the show’s total watch time.
A total of five titles surpassed the 1 billion viewing minutes mark during the week, according to Nielsen’s Streaming Content Ratings. Netflix led all platforms with six entries in the Top 10. Notably, only one title on the chart was a non-original with shared distribution rights.
The White Lotus unseated The Residence, Shonda Rhimes’ latest murder mystery drama, which landed in second place with 1.095 billion minutes viewed. Paramount+’s 1923 made a significant leap, climbing five spots to take third place with 1.063 billion minutes.
In fourth place was Grey’s Anatomy, the only non-original title on the list. With shared streaming between Netflix and Hulu, the long-running medical drama amassed a combined 1.059 billion viewing minutes.
Rounding out the top five was Disney+’s Bluey, the beloved Australian children’s series, which achieved 1.005 billion minutes viewed.
The bottom half of the chart featured a mix of genres and platforms. Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum U.S. came in sixth with 842 million minutes, followed by Prime Video’s Reacher at No. 7 with 823 million.
Netflix rounded out the Top 10 with three additional titles: the drama series Pulse (No. 8, 797 million), the true crime documentary Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer (No. 9, 786 million), and the Sofia Carson-led romantic drama The Life List (No. 10, 764 million).
